We had a competition in the school last Wednesday.
The theme of the competition was Scottish lifestyle, history, famous holidays and geography.
During the competition we used our phones to solve different exercises by scanning QR codes. We were divided into pairs. Once a task was completed, we received a code that had to be written in our passports. At the end of the programme, we handed in the code to our teachers.
Some of the tasks were about Scottish traditional songs (Ally Bally Bee, Flower of Scotland) and their famous sport (caber tossing). We also learned about Sir Walter Scott, who was a historian, a great poet and writer. There were some difficult questions which we struggled to answer.  We encourage everyone to learn more about Scottish culture.
The whole competition was fun and entertaining. We appreciate the work of the English teachers.
